Hi guys, im trying to find a sub replacement that will go well with my speakers. I have def tech speakers all around, my front speakers are bp10 for my center i have the mythos 3 and for my rear i have promonito 100's. I currently have the poerfield 1800 by def tech but although it does an good job with movies it is not that good with music. I have everthing hooked up to my pioneer vsx-92txh..i would like to keep the price around 400-500 "the cheaper the better" i would really appreciate any help

something smaller would be nice too

In your situation the HSU 2.3 for $499 (plus shipping) would be very good for music and is just big enough to do justice with movies.
It might not sound as "full" as your powerfield, that's because it has a very flat frequency response.

thanks spyboy i will look into it, if anyone else has any more suggestions please feel free to comment. thanks
I was also looking for something small and cheap, since I will be living in an apartment for the next few years until I graduate.
I went to my local high-end AV shop to look at the Def Tech Supercube III, but I fell in love with the Supercube I. It is more than I need, but when I move into a house I wont need to upgrade, and I can turn it down for the time being.
It looks like you already have some very nice components, so why not invest in a great sub :D
