Hello all,
I'm looking at buying a 50" flat panel to mount in my outdoor lanai/ pool area. The plans are to place it on a mount to swing it out 90 degrees, depending where I want to watch it. The sun's direct rays will be most problematic in the early morning until 10:00, which is not really my main lounging time anyway, and mostly shadows after that. My question is which tv, LCD or Plasma, will be the best. I have worries about glare on the plasma, and the LCD not being bright enough in daylight and viewing angle (to some extent). I live in North Florida where it is humid and rarely too cold, although I am planning on removing the tv in the winter. Also the tv will be mounted on the brick veneer. I'm not certain that the brick will hold up a heavier plasma...What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance for you replies. Pete
