Hey everyone, I have what is probably a pretty basic question, but I can't for the life of me figure it out! While watching SD content I can only seem to view the feed in letterboxed format with black bars on the left and right sides. I have gone through the aspect ratio settings and switching between 16:9 and 4:3 don't have any effect. I am running the feed to a Motorola HD cable box via component inputs. For the record, I know that the quality is better in 4:3 mode, but I would at least like to have the option if possible! Thanks for any help!

You should look for an option on your cable box for 480i content. It sounds like the cable box is doing the letterboxing.
