My gf lightly scratched my DLP screen and I dont think I can deal with it. I can order the new screens, freznel and lenticular, screen cleaner, and screen tape for edge of interior screen that holds them apparently. My main concern is getting it apart and making a minor thing into a huge problem. Im pretty handy and Ive downloaded instructions that go over the procedure which doesnt sound difficult . I was going to make a sort of 'jig with a slightly raised platform in the middle with a smooth fabric covering to place the lenticular down onhorizontilly. The jig is to keep the lenticular from bowing and remain flat. Then I would clean inside of lenticular and raised jig with bezel almost vertical , place tape andplace freznel. How clean are these screens from the factory? I know if I get stuff on it it will show and I have powderless nitrile gloves to handles edges. Does any one know if this would be ridiculous for me to try? I am a perfectionist and I would be a nervous wreck having a tech do it - but I also dont know the 'pro-tricks these guys use. What luck - my lamp just burned tonight too. Please if anyone knows anything Id be grateful- Thanks
