I just purchased a Samsung HL61A750 DLP TV and have a problem with HDMI playback from my Yamaha DV-S5950 upconvert DVD player (which I'd been using for over a year without any problems with an older Hitachi TV, via HDMI-to-DVI). I connected the Yamaha to my new Samsung TV via HDMI-to-HDMI cable. All connections were correct, but the playback image displayed on the TV has a very strong magenta hue overall (the picture images are sharp and in focus, only the colors are distorted). In addition, we get no audio either. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry but I typed the wrong model number for the DVD player in the thread title. It is supposed to be the DV-S5950. I've created a thread with the correct title. Please post there and disregard this thread. If any mods come by this thread please close it. Thank you again.
