I am in desperate need of some help here. I imported my movie from my HDR-SR11 and into iMovie for editing. I added some transitions and text. Now, I want to export this project and burn it to STANDARD DVD and HD-DVD.

The problem is...I don't know what setting to choose to export it. Like do I say export it as a H.264 file from iMovie? An MP4 file ? I don't know. I have spent 6 days on this and can't figure it out.

I need both the HD-DVD and STANDARD DVD to be highest quality possible.

During my research over the past week, I've heard so many things. Like some people say that if I want to burn it to a standard dvd, it's pointless to export it in HD quality because it would be a waste. Is that true ?

PLEASE...let me know what to choose to export this movie so I can get it over with PLEASE!!!!!
