So I've got one of the 4 oz theater popcorn poppers that was popular at both Sams and Costco (probably exact same model, just different looks maybe). It's held up pretty well for over a year and I love it a lot. However, I've noticed pieces of black plastic have chipped off from the housing where the kettle/popper connects to the ceiling of the unit itself. Basically, the four screws that hold it on are probably not going to do so for very long.

Does anyone know if I just this part can be replaced? Everything else (kettle, motor, etc.) works splendidly so I'd like to just replace this one part. I need to look closer at the documentation that came with the popper to see if it has any information but I seem to recall there wasn't much.

Anyone else had this problem and have advice?

I ordered a Costco popper some time ago. It arrived with a bent kettle bracket and I contacted the Manufacturer. They sent me a replacement part and after I looked at the amount of work to take the unit apart I decided to just take the unit back.

Bottom line if you kept the documentation just give the Mfg a call. They may send you a part. If you kept your Costco receipt and it fails you can just take it back.

I'll have to see what was included (all documentation is in the little cabinet). I got it at Sams over a year ago so I know they won't take it back. But I can probably order the part from the company.
