Hey guys,

I HAVE searched through the forums for my problem, and im sure the answer is here somewhere but i couldnt find an answer i understood.

I have a 65" Toshiba 65HX83 i think. My screen has been off center for a while, and it always kind of annoyed me. I bought GTA IV, and i cant see a lot of things on the right side so now it really annoys me!

Basically, it is off center to the right by about an inch or 2. Im not positive about everything i read, but i do think i did the convergance ok. i just moved the red and blue crosses until they lined up perfect with the white one and my picture looked better.

From what ive read, i guess i need to go through the service menu, but i didnt see any detailed instructions on EXACTLY how to do so, and im not interested in destroying my TV. I guess im trying to save some money by not calling a pro, any help for a TV NEWB out there?

oh yea, GO SPURS GO! (had to throw a spurs plug in there ;))

I'm not specifically familiar with the Toshiba model you have. I know this is a CRT 65" rear projection TV. Some more information would be useful.

What source device are you using (PS3, XBox 360, etc.) and which video input on the TV is it connected to?

What resolution is the input video (ie., 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i).

Is the source device (e.g., game console) set to output in widescreen mode (16 x 9)?

What display mode do you have your Toshiba TV in (e.g., Full, Theaterwide 1, etc)?

Is video from other sources off-center?

Also I suggest you check out THIS TREAD (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=425650&highlight=HX83)since it probably covers your model.
