IGN gave the game a perfect 10. I want to keep it simple. We don't need justifications or even opinions as we have heard the opinions over and over, unless you feel the need to blabber about why it is or isn't. This is a straightforward simple poll. Do you think GTA4 is a perfect ten or not?

As soon as I complete the game, I will vote in this poll.

Everyone seems focused on IGN. Almost every review gave it a 10.

I agree my vote should wait until I'm through the main story. But unless there's some kind of unprecedented total failure later in the game, then yes I'd give it a 10.

I would say yes in most non-technical catagories. The game has some bugs and the graphics are not a 10/10 (on either system). It's a solid 9.5/10 assuming the game doesn't suck later on.

Many games get 10s that I would never score as well; Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect... Some I would not give a 9.

I voted no. The story and graphics are good. I just felt that its not so much revolutionary as it is evolutionary. It just feels like the next step in GTA to me. Its still a great game an easy 9, just not a 10 for me.

Considering how much they sold in the past week, it's not suprising.

I think the better question is why are people so wrapped up in rating this game. Play it, enjoy it or don't. The level of dissection is way out of hand.

I agree. Games are meant to be enjoyed. Would the game be any less fun if the critics gave it 9, 8 or a 7 instead. If you already own the game, then the ratings from the reviewers isn't important anymore.

It's really growing on me but not a 10 in my book. The core gameplay (hand to hand and gunplay) needs a bit more work. I've adapted to it and can battle and it is fun but it could be a lot better. The driving is a lot of fun and the crashes are great.

Graphics are growing on me as well, though I still feel I enjoy them more or less depending on which one of the 9 lighting schemes and times of day.

As for the story I'm not far enough but it has had some cool moments and other moments that I just want to skip the cut scenes. I'd have been perfectly fine if they left out the hookers and strip club, maybe in juniour high I would have enjoyed that aspect more but now it just seems too much to go that far just because they can. A bit overboard with the constant swearing as well but at the same time it makes me laugh at the stupid crap the random person will say when walking buy.

In the end I'm having a lot of fun with it so far, more than I expected after my first nights impressions and that's what matters.

not a ten. i love the game, but it doesn't have any cool weapons other than the rocket launcher. if they patch in a crossbow i will upgrade it to a ten.

I'm not very far in, but the hand to hand combat sucks. I can't tell if I am going to push a guy or punch him.

A game that does not run natively @ 1080p should not get a 10 in the graphics department on a console such as the PS3. Additionally, compare any one scene from GTA IV to any one scene of Uncharted. Let's take IGN for example. They gave Uncharted a 9 in graphics, and a 10 for GTA IV. That makes no sense. Granted, Uncharted has tearing issues, but that's beside the point.

If think it's pretty obvious which is the superior version.

I agree with the 1080p assessment. While tearing is an issue in Uncharted at least one can see.

Is that GTA -4? All we have to do is zoom out enough on those pixels and it will be 1080p or stand 20 ft back.

To me a 10 means flawless so no, it's not.

Maybe if they can fix the horrible online system (invites only, no join) which is also very buggy (throws you out of a match to enter story mode).
