I have a pio 5080. Does pressing power button on remote, put TV into more of a standby mode using more power as opposed to pushing power button on plasma itself. Both modes still use quite a bit of electricity right? So how about just unplugging after use. I can do this easily because my plug is within reach of my seat. Is it safe to do this without turning display off first? I would like to do this because when I plug it back in, it turns itself back on by itself, making it that much easier.
