:confused::o ok, here i go.
2 years ago i purchased JVC GR-D270 MINI CAMCORDER($325.00). much more camera than i needed. afer 2 year it needs repair(stuck in safe mode, and tape will not eject) est. cost of repair is $175.00-$210.00 this will then make it a $500.00+ camera and i do not want to throw good money after bad.
now my question, can anyone advise me on a good camera that does both still photos and video that is inexpensive ( since i'm already out $325.00). i do not need alot of extras, i would like to shoot stills and record in low light, be able to transfer to my computer(using usb 2.0) for editing and making a dvd. can be any format, which ever is recommended.
