i´m getting a plasma tv this weekend, and i want to know if dead pixel are as common on plasma as on lcd?
oh god.. 1 more thing to worry about! :mad:
burn in, break in period, image retention and now dead pixel!.. those PQ better to be good!! :(
i thought dead pixel were more a lcd thing...

.. appears to be a minor complaint; some experience one/two stuck or possibly one dead & find it liveable. you're in a unique situation so if one does expose its ugly self, you could try running a couple Disney/Pixar films, try giving it time to work lose, exchange it (?) or just live w/ it. :)
p.s. went back, compared & see that yr european model more closely resembles the 4254 'though' you probably already knew that. good luck tomorrow.

It's only minor if it doesn't annoy the *hit out of you to pay for something which
is defective:)
