I am currently setting up a 7.1 surround system in my basement. The problem is that my seating area is going right up against the back wall and I don't have an side walls that are close enought for speakers to go on. I really don't want to use speaker stands. Is it ok to put all 4 rear speakers on the back wall facing forward? THe only other option I have is to put 2 on the back wall and 2 in the ceiling, but then I would have to trade in 2 of the speakers I already have for some in wall type which I don't think would sound as good as what I have now. THanks for the advise.
