I have a computer setup with 8500 GT graphic card, DVI connect to Dell 24" LCD and HDMI hook up to my projector through a switcher.

The Benq w10000 projector is also connected to motorola 6412 hdtv cable box and Toshiba HD DVD Player (A35).

I have the projector for about a month now and I start noticing green dots and uniform green lines(at the black bars above and under the pictures) all over the screen especailly in dark scenes. It comes and go randomly every few seconds or so. It only happen with video file and I tried several video softwares and they all have problem.

It only happens when I feed the projector from HTPC through the HDMI out(8500 GT). I feed the projector from the same HDMI in with the HD cable, HD Dvd, Dvd and nothing wrong with it.

Is this a Video card problem and if it is, what should I replace it with?

Please help!!

I also posted this over HTPC forum and getting no response yet. I just want to get some idea before I spent more money on a new video card.

After I spent days searching through the internet, I found out the reason is my graphic card is running too hot. My 8500 GT is a fanless design and I overclock the CPU a little bit plus the weather is getting warmer in Texas.

I underclock both my CPU and my graphic card now and it seems to be OK. Just want to post this in case anyone has similar problem.
