Any of you guys try this game out yet? It's like a trivia game where you can hedge your bets. Basically, the game asks you questions that are difficult to say the least (example: how long in miles is the Mississippi River). You try to come close, but can bet against yourself by betting on other players. Seems like fun, but I'm sure online players will be googling and cheating all day with this. But anyways, it really gets weird in between the games. Your character, to whom you can choose from a variety of strange heads, can do these weird dances and flap his arms like a chicken by pressing different buttons. Not that it's weird per se, but you just have to see it. It's just kind of kooky. It is on the arcade and costs 800 points. It is camera compatible. I'd consider it if some of you guys wanted to get a session or 2 in for laughs.

I downloaded the demo...not so sure about it.
It seems like most of the points actually come from the bets...it seems like it might actually be more advantageous to answer incorrectly and try and fake people out on the harder questions. I think that's where the "Wits" comes in.
My wife and I thought it was a little weird...I don't think I'm going to buy the full version.
It's a pretty good tabletop game for a group of six or seven reasonably smart people (or teams, for very large groups). Even those who aren't trivia buffs don't get left behind, for two reasons. One, you aren't expected to actually know the answer, just a good guess; and two, the scoring is all about the betting anyway. The major flaw seems to be that it all just comes down to the last round when everyone is allowed to go all in, and everyone is left wondering why they even bothered with the first six rounds.
For XBox Live, it makes less sense to me. On Live, I don't care about entertaining a diverse group of people, only myself. And the problem of Google-using cheaters would pretty much ruin the whole game.

we need jeopardy with a true rating system for players. If someone appears to be ken jennings, chances are they are a googler and you can leave comments on their play. I don't know how else you can retaliate and/or possibly prevent these wackoffs from ruining everything
