Guitar Hero 4 to Expand to Take On Rock Band?
Obviously, since Rock Band stepped in to the musical rhythm game arena, Activision have had their work cut out for them and have been presented with a much needed dose of competition. The question is, what have they done to bring the newest Guitar Hero title, the answer is... Add drums!?
A recent blogger over at Destructoid posted a few scanned images of the latest issue of the Game Informer magazine recently and it only goes and shows an image of the upcoming drum aspect of the new Guitar Hero game. Check out the image below.
Not only that but the front cover boasts "vocals" and "create your own songs". as new Guitar Hero 4 features. Apart from the obvious move to other aspects of the band and stuff, the "create your own songs" aspect really intrigues us... But as far as the vocals and drums go... Can anyone say "Band Hero". Is this really what you the gamer wants?
Guitar Hero is ALL about just that, being a guitar hero--now with it trying to be like Rock Band, it's kinda taking away from it's original goal. I think they (Red Octane) should just make a Rock Band Style game and keep Guitar Hero it's own thing. The drums doo look cool though, with the cymbals. What do you all think?
