View Full Version : Signature with url kieranmullen 05-15-08, 01:52 PM Is it ok to put a url in the signature if it is not for marketing av products or marketing at all? thanks David Bott 05-15-08, 04:02 PM Sorry, but the link you have posted is marketing for your busniess. :) kieranmullen 05-15-08, 04:17 PM Yes, but what does it have to do with av? Realistically companies like google and yahoo give away free items like online photo albums as a "marketing tool" to market their other service. Therefore should someone not be allowed to market on behalf of google & others by posting a link to their online photo album? The grey line question would go away if the terms were defined a bit better.. 1)No posting urls in signatures of any kind (take out the word marketing as it would no longer need to be there and would just ad confusion) OR Decide 2)No posting of urls to AVS related sales & marketing sites. The later makes more sense than the former. I just use the same signature wherever I go. It was never a problem before, but I went ahead and complied anyway. David Bott 05-15-08, 04:21 PM You are a busniess, that is quite differnt from a person posting to their photos on a site made for photos. Thanks |
