My Panamax still 'seems' to be working. I've it about a year now..purchased from Magnolia and I noticed the front LED lights on the display are slowing burning out...?? Has anyone else experienced this with their Panamax's?

Call Panamax. I had a regular surge suppressor from Panamax and it's switch light was flickering and driving me crazy......they replaced it for free with a brand new unit.

I've got a Panamax 5300EX that I bought from Best Buy about a year ago and the circle LED that lights around the voltage meter is mostly gone out. Only about a quarter of the circle lights up now.

IIRC, Panamax has a lifetime warranty. I had a unit with a lightbar that had lost brightness after about 18 months. Abt Electronics actually took it back and offered to either exchange it for a new example of the same model or give me full credit towards the purchase of a higher-end unit.

Abt wouldn't be able to do this unless Panamax really stood behind their products. You're likely on your own buying it from Best Buy, however. Sorry.

Well I recently moved a few months ago, and I can't find my receipt from Best Buy. Plus I bought it as a open box item at BB, got for dirt cheap so I don't know if they would honor it if I found the receipt or not. But I guess its worth a try.

Panamax won't need a receipt. Again, it's a lifetime warranty.

Put this in another post, but not sure if it will get read

So trying this one :D

I am getting a used 5300-EX and I looked at the manual online and I was thinking it would recommend what units to plug in where, but I did not see that.

Are there any recommendations others have for what to plug in where? I have a plasma, avr, BD, cable box and cd player.
