3rd quarter 2008 the 65" Mitsubishi laservue Laser TV will be available. :D

Links for a bit of info:
Link1: believingisseeing.tv/faq.html

Link2: news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,20556839-5006007,00.html

Sry about not giving out the whole link, I am not allowed before I've posted 3 times

So the good things would be: (gaming wise)
No possibility for burnin
Its "fast", no ghosting

Is there a place for more info about the laser tvs?

Like:

1. How fast are they really? the "blur" when playing ps3 games fast movements across the screen, will it be eliminated or just a tad better than LCD?`

2. Will there be judder? I mean when watching Blue Ray, as a laser tv does it also need to be 120hz 5:5 pulldown to eliminate judder?

3. They talk about speckle in the FAQ of one of the links, what exacly is that?

It'll be fast as any projector, which is fine for almost all of us; it'll accept 24p inputs; speckle is an optical effect caused by lasers hitting objects. Part of the design challenge for laser displays is minimising the effect. The Laservue isn't out yet so we can't comment on how well they've done so.

Remember a few years ago we worried about single-chip DLP and that spinning color wheel getting loose and flying out of the TV? Well just wait until that laser goes berzerk and slices your head off :-)

Omg.
