I am sorry if this was the wrong place to post this topic...I was unsure of where.
What I want to do: We have a 50" flat screen tv in our store, to play videos all day long, right now it just loops dvds, but this is not good because the dvd-players burn out often from playing 12hours a day everyday strait. and when we have a new video we have to make all new discs. and we cant pick different playlists after the dvd is made
so what I want is something that bascially attaches to the TV, and I can put videos on (I make the videos in Adobe After Effects, .mov, .avi files), then I in the morning I can decide exactly which of those videos to play, create play list containing them and loop those videos on the tv screen all day.
then when I make a new video, I all do is add it to the device.
I am wondering which would be better? Apple TV or Mac Mini....note I do not want to show iTunes content I want to add videos(.mov .avi .mpg) that I create myself.
THANKS!!!
