I want to purchase one of these units because I love the LCD lables, but I have a quandry.
This thing has been out since spring of 2007- yet claims that its 1.3 capable.
I am unsure of that claim. Has anyone used one of devices to pass DDtruHD and dtsHD-ma and 1080/24hz to a receiver and TV that takes those protocols?
Is this device a relay or a repeater, if so what does its EDID info allow?

I can't make any comments about the HDMI switch specifically, but I did try their component video switch. It claimed to be able to pass 1080i signals without any signal degredation, and that was definitely not true. I had a lot of problems with screen cutouts and noise bars, etc. So I wouldn't necessarily trust what Psyclone says. Look around on the web for some reviews if you don't get much of a response here.

I'm trying to find a HDMI / Component / Co-axial / optical / switcher, like a 3,4or 5 imput model, I own an older Yamaha 2095 Digital receiver, where I'm using the TV / DBS mode on the receiver, and I have my Comcast HD cable box in that mode, so I'm trying to find a switch where I could add either a Blu-ray player, PS3, Cable box. I would run the output cable directly to my Sammy 4669 LCD, and the receiver would just switch the audio. I guess I could forget about component, most everything I see is HDMI, but, I'd then be looking for a HDMI with Audio Switching if no component was the case. Here is an example of something I found, but it's missing HDMI.
This only would be the cases instead of purchasing a new receiver, but if something costs 350 to 450 dollars, I might as well get a new receiver. Here is a link to an example of a 4 X 1 4x1 HDTV Autoselect Switcher with IR Remote by Audio Authority HERE (http://www.audioauthority.com/product_details/1154B/Component_Video/5/1).

Thanks for the help.
