I need some comments on this. I was totally for 1080p, until I purchased mlb the show 08, 720p native, I did not expect any difference besides minor upscaling, however, the difference was huge. 720p for the show was so much smoother and realistic. Motions seemed more real and fluid. I dont want to constantly change my ps3 settings, so I think I should leave it on 720p? Im assuming downscaling is easier then upscaling. I have gran turismo 5P but the difference in games like the show of 720p vs 1080 makes it seem like I should just stick to 720p. Downscaling does not seem to be much of a problem, but upscaling is not nearly as smooth. Does anyone have comments on this? I really wish the ps3 could just pass native resolutions of games.
