By the time more HD channels roll out later this year. I'm sure some,if not all of the ones I'm about to mention will be in HD. But this thread is dedicated to those channels that are in SD but currently aren't in the HD format. These are channels I feel are more than worthy to go that direction:
TV Land
Boomerang
CNN Headline News (Guess we'll have to wait until Atlanta starts upgrading their studios)
Do It Yourself Network
Fine Living
History International
Comedy Central
E!
BET
G4
Hallmark (the main channel, not the movie channel)
Military Channel

MSNBC
ESPNU
MTV 2
I know even if they did go HD, I probably never see them on Time Warner, but it would be nice to one day see:
*Countdown with Keith Olbermann in HD,
*Rob & Big on MTV2 in full screen 16:9(instead of 16:9 letterbox + sidebars = windowbox)
*more HD college sports on ESPNU

Here's a little newsbit with regards to your desired channels. I can tell you that ESPNU HD will make its debut by the end of August. You're likely to see some 200 collegiate events in HD this year. I keep hearing rumors, yet no real official word that MSNBC is ready to go HD later this year. As far as MTV2 in HD is concerned, I'm seeing the logo on Directv which means it may come soon. The problem is, I've heard complaints that MTV HD has shown absolutely zero HD since it began. So for now, I wouldn't hold my breath on MTV 2 HD.
I'd like to see real HD on MTV-HD and VH1-HD before we take up more bandwidth for MTV2-HD with no HD content. Both of those existing channels show programs that are apparently 16x9 in a 4x3 letterbox. I assume CMT-HD does the same thing, so the same applies to them.
