Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone here again for all the help. I feel bad because I have very little knowledge in the A/V arena so I can't ever offer much suggestions to people in other posts. However, I'm slowly learning from everyone here!
Fairly new to the HDTV scene. I've noticed that my television's video will "flicker". I can't quite describe it except that it looks like a hiccup while drawing the video.
It doesn't happen often; maybe once every 20 minutes or so.
I have a Panasonic TH-42PZ77U and an Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver. My XBox and Blu-Ray player both go to the receiver via HDMI. Then there is an HDMI connection from the receiver to the television. I purchased the HDMI cables from bluejeanscable.com.
The flicker will happen with both the blu-ray and the XBox, so I'm suspecting it's somewhere from the receiver to the television. I believe the cable length from the receiver to the television is 8 feet, but it could be 6 feet.
Is this a semi-common occurance where there's a usual suspect that's causing it?
Thanks!
