I'm tore between these two tv's. The 40" Samsung LCD LN40A450 and the 42" Plasma PN42A450. It's going to be used mainly to watch SD programming so them not being 1080p is ok.Watching Dish Network and Dvd's is going to be its main use. I would be sitting fairly close to the tv because my computer desk is actually right beside the tv.As far as price I can get them for about the same. The plasma seems to have better picture but the lcd seems to be a better tv and I wouldn't have to worry about burn in although I don't konw how serious a problem that is....Im not a pro so I really don't know which is better.Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

PS. for a couple hundred less there is also the 42" Insignia Plasma made by LG.The NS-PDP42 .Don't know what your guys feelings are on that tv.
