I have a Meridian G98 SD DVD player. I also have a Toshiba X2 HD DVD player. They are connected to my JVC RS1 via HDMI. I have a Radient HDMI switcher and there is a 30' cable running to it from the projector.
The video on the Toshiba is great regardless of playing SD or HD DVD's.
The vidoe on the Meridian, however has this strange feature when playing SD DVD's. I don't think it's pixelation. The only way I can describe it is to say that when you're watching people on the screen, sometime's there's these weird lines (not straight) that form inside their skin, sometimes their faces get this odd effect like when film gets too hot and looks like images are beginning to bubble. It's very hard to explain.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any places on this forum that show screenshots of different kinds of video noise/problems?
