So I am looking for a cheap dvd-player, that plays .avi and Divx of a usb-stick or usb-Harddrive. I thought of buying the oppo 980, but the shipping to switzerland would be far too expensiv.:(
Has anybody got an alternativ?

Phillips 5982 with USB1.0 for $60 USD or less. Phillips 5992 (pending) will have USB2.0 for faster USB playback. It will likely cost about the same ($60-70 USD) once release.
