I recently took delivery of a new Espresso Brown 8529.

The only thing is I didn't receive any fabric inserts for the side doors. The brochure clearly notes that side door inserts are a feature for use with side speakers.


Did everyone else receive them? If so, do you recall where in the massive box they may have been packaged? I believe the store i ordered the unit from opened the box to inspect it before it was delivered. (for good reason, because I actually had an Avion Noir delivered to me a few weeks earlier in error)

Along that line, is there an optional glass insert for the center drawer as well?

BDI use to include the inserts, but has not for some time. You can get them one of two ways. One, call BDI directly 703-803-6900 ask for customer service or two contact the store you got them from and they can get them for you. They do not charge you and will send them directly to your house for free.

They also provide the glass insert at no charge. Just tell them what you need and they will help you out.

Where did you buy your stand?

Thanks for the info. I bought the stand from a distributor in Toronto called Direct Interiors. They contacted BDI and are getting the inserts for me.
