the door into my condo is only 31 inches wide and the door to the home theater room is only 29 inches wide.
anyone have any ideas on seating that will fit through here?
i want something like Berklines but that's looking impossible.
I believe that for most berklines , the backs can be easily separated from the seats. You shouldn't have a problem - easier than getting a sofa in the room.

You should be fine, the top and bottom come seperated. I had read before on somebody getting them through a 28" door. Check with Roman on the power just to be sure.

The backs separate from the seats on the Coaster Directors as well, and would fit through your doors.

Every home theater seat I have every seen come with a removable back. So you would carry the seat in sideways with the shortest dimension being the floor to the top of the arm rest. Most are under 27".

The coasters come apart fine too. You shouldn't have any problems with any dedicated seats that I have seen. They all break apart.

i live in a condo (second floor to boot) and i have my berklines in my living room. As stated before the backs come apart, much easier to get in when they are off...

Everybody's pretty much right. The backs are removable for easy shipping.
BUT, in case they are not. My question to you is: How good are you at fixing drywall?

I just fit 6 into my small 11x16 bedroom. Without taking the back off, all we did was put the seats in full recline mode and it went in by it's side easily. That's also including 2 that wedges on one side and straight on the other.
