I have Sony DVP-NS78H upconverting 1080p player.

Now I got an LCD TV and apparently I cannot see Closed Captions via HDMI connection.

Here is what I found ob Sony TV website:

"HDMI: When using the HDMI connection, closed captioning must be generated by the source device (satellite receiver, cable box, DVD player, etc.), not by the television. Enable closed captioning on the source device. "

Well it looks like that Sony DVP-NS78H DVD player cannot generate Closed Captions via HDMI. I did not find anything about it in the manual or on the Internet.

Is it possible to generate Closed Captions via HDMI on this player?
