is there anybody that has found some good settings for the sharp d82u, i can't afford to get it calibrated right now and was just wondering if anyone could put up a few numbers, thanks.

Go to the LCD panel section and look up the other sharp owners of this TV and use their settings.

Or use something free like the THX optimode and get your contrast and brightness set right ... a big jump on better imaging and it will be optimal for your TV ... not some one else's tV.

Or even $20 for a test disc of some kind ... DVE ... small steps to better imaging.
