I have been a DirecTV subscriber for years and during that time I augmented the DirecTiVO to allow me to network the DVR over my home network.
Does anyone know whether the USB port on the 625 can be "turned on" and used for a network interface? Are there any software tools to enable transferring shows over the network to a PC hard drive and playing them independently of the DVR?
