Situation: I've got a 56" TV for movies and games, but want to get a new HD capable TV for the bedroom. Because of the size of the cabinet it is in, 32" is the biggest that will fit (I have just over 33" clearance side to side), and my wife won't let me get rid of the furniture to get a bigger TV (I'd prefer ~42")

So main use will be watching TV, not really any games and no PC monitor use. It's our bedroom, so we do have an overhead light on when watching TV, so it won't be very dark in the room.

I haven't measured the exact viewing distance, but it's probably ~10ft, so I don't need 1080, since I won't see a difference anyway. Budget is less then $1000, and under $800 if possible.

What are some good recommendations?

Thanks

Sony XBR6 would be my choice also at this point.

Thanks....I currently have a 27" Sony CRT, is it still worth moving to 32" to get HD?

(I think this is probably a stupid question, and most likely the answer is yes, but I've never used a smaller HDTV and want to make sure)
