Is there any advantage to making frames for your Rockboard 60 panels other than ease of hanging? Acoustical advantages? Do most people just wrap the actual panel in fabric or do you frame them out? Get my panels in this week and I was wondering what to do with them. Thanks.

I think it's all aesthetic, plus maybe some ease of mounting. If you are doing full wall cloth covering, it also makes things easier. Many of my frames will be empty (just cloth covered), and only some of them will have fiberglass. Easier to get a consistent look if they are all framed.

i've read the same, that anything in excess of the rigid fiberglass itself is for aesthetics.
