Hi, I'm looking for an inexpensive OTA HD receiver for an older HD-Ready only set. Computer based USB products seem to be very cheap but for my purposes I need to have a standalone box. Any Recommendations?

Computer based USB products seem to be very cheap but for my purposes I need to have a standalone box. Any Recommendations? I've been *very* happy (for over a year and a half) with Samsung's H260F unit, feeding my Zenith HD-ready set. It's ~$179. See that synopsis thread. Someone notes the many features of the H260F and notes some (minor) ones it doesn't have. The OSG ('on-screen guide') is very valuable. New HDTV's do not have one. !! |
