8:00pm, 11:00pm(repeat) - HDNet:

I know its on starwars.com but this show will be showing the trailer for the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie which hits theatres in August and that will lead into the weekly TV show.

I was surprised that it wasn't posted here before. But a week or two ago, the trailer premiered on all of the Turner networks at the 7:58p simultaneously. I recorded it in HD on TNT-HD and in SD on boomarang (gotta record all those old MGM cartoons ;D so my kids get a taste of pre-PC cartoons).

The Copy on TNT-HD was indeed in HD. I didn't check TBS-HD and Dish didn't have Cartoon Net in HD at the time. It is a pretty good cartoon and I'll likely record it again on HDNet since HDnet still seems to look much better than most other HD channels.

My kids love to watch the trailer over and over and are really looking forward to the movie in August and the TV show that will follow. Not sure when the TV show will begin though. I'm guessing October or November.

Also shown in HD on CNN.hehe, I knew that it would be on the Tuner networks, but I was thinking the regular fair. TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, and Boomarang. Not CNN.. I wonder if TCM had it?

Yes, many times. HBO showed most (all 6?) of them last year (?) and in OAR to boot (not normal procedure for 2.35:1 movies on HBO).

i wish ultimate trailer show would start tagging their reruns...the dvr records every stinkin' episode, reruns or not.

Cinemax showed all six, then HBO. (I recorded them onto DVHS.)

The HBO and Cinemax window for the SW movies is over. spike TV seems to have exclusive rights, and its not OAR :(

Usa and Sci Fi ran the Indy films IN OAR (EVEN ON THE SD channel!)

I think, like the Daily Show, this is a function of the company that actually puts the info (incorrectly) into the guide. Autoline Detroit is the sme way.

I had to get an external 750GB HDD as I wanted to add all 3 Indiana Jones and 3 LOTR movies to my HD stored collection. I now have about 50 HD movies and still got 240GBs left.
