Hey Fellas, I'm a complete noob when it comes to audio and I need help on deciding on a good but budget friendly audio system for my ps3.

Will a 2.1 system sound good enough for my room or is it a must have for 5.1?
I have no idea where to place my speakers if I get 5.1. I really think I have no room for it. Heres some pictures of my room now(Cell phone).

5.1 is always nicer, but if you cant find a good place for your speakers, then that could be tough, leaving you with the next best thing a nice 2.1 setup. a straight shot of your front though would also help immensely I am sure

If you really want 5.1 you could put in-ceiling speakers above the seating. I dont know what kind of ceiling you have, but it might be possible.

Any chance you could move that TV and the couch over to the right a couple of feet? That would get you away from that wall a bit, and would get your left speaker further away from the corner.

Are you really looking for 5.1? That's a pretty small space...

2.1 is the way to go my friend or you could always get one of those tiny sony speaker systems things, its 5.1 and its so tiny you could get away with stands behind the couch.
