So i've been looking for a good DVD rack, i saw one at my friends that he had gotten at best buy (one they obviously dont carry any more) and it was one of those three poles tilted back designs, it seemed like it was easier on dvd boxes over standing them vertically on a regular shelf, or stacking them the other way.

anyway, after the Atlantic models that i did find got terrible reviews on the best buy website, i sort of stumpled onto Transdeco.

So, is it any good? is there a better brand than them for those kinds of racks?

does anyone have any real life pictures of them in use? (since i like that better than the perfect model shots).

the one concern i read about in one review was that it doesnt accomodate having dvd's on every rack, as they are not spacesd properly apart, is this true?

also, is there a brand or rack even better than them?

You didn't mention your budget or how many dvd's you have but check www.Boltz.com

i'm not looking to spend a ton likely no more than Transdeco, maybe even less if i can, although i wont sacrifice it to get something that is not worth getting (as i found on the antlatic piece best buy was selling, at least according to the reviews).

I also dont have alot of DVD's (well i do, including video games, but i will probably keep the ones i already have in the now full drawer i have so this is for overflow).

I did check out boltz, but i dunno, do you belevie it to be better than Transdeco? because i'm not sure it looks any better.

i have a similar leaned back pole shelf thing its wooden and im not sure of the manufacturer but it isnt very good. The poles arent even so they are loose and its not very sturdy it leans left/right really easily, i prefer my shelf

Spincut,
I don't have any experience with Transdeco. I've owned the Boltz dvd rack for a few years without any problems. I store dvd's, cd's, vhs tapes, & video games on it. It's solid steel construction and built to last plus it's expandable.

i tried calling transdeco to see if they had any local dealers in my area, and let's just say the person i talked to was kind of a douche'. I really hope he was just some gomer answering the phones and not the maker of the stuff, because i dont think i want to buy anything made by somebody this thick skulled.
