I checked all treads but I didn't find a good answer to my dilemma. So:

I hooked up my 360 with a hdmi cable on a 32' samsung hdtv. hdmi it's supposed to look better and upscale my dvd's. but for instance the guide menu on the 360 looks less 'sharp' and kind of softer using HDMI and I don't know if the games look better or worse. it definitely looks different but I don't know if it's for better or worse. could it be the quality of the hdmi cable?

my tv does 720p and 1080i only.

I will post some pictures, so you guys can judge.

Could be the 360 just does a better job over component, one isn't better then the other.
