I am looking for an HDMI splitter to split the AV signal from a Dish Network vip722 DVR Receiver to both an Onkyo TX-SR606 AV Reciever and a Samsung LN46A550 HDTV. The purpose of the splitter is to allow for the option of watching the HDTV without necessarily having the AV Receiver turned on.

I have tried the cheap pigtail HDMI splitters (one male to two females), but they are incompatible and cause snow and distortions on the HDTV.

Does anyone know of a reasonably-priced splitter that will work with my setup and gear?

Thanks for your help.
