What is the Samsung DLP default sharpness level while in the service menu?

It can depend on your individual set, because Sammy DLP's can have different service menus from one model year to the next, and even different SM firmware versions in the same model. Many default to Dynamic mode in the SM, while some allow you to use a different mode. Some allow you to use cinema mode in the SM if you activate the cinema CCA correctly. The default sharpness level will be the user sharpness setting for that mode.
In addition, there are various filter settings in the SM what may or may not have any effect on sharpness, depending on the input type and resolution you're feeding it while in the SM.
There is a manual focus ring, but I'm not sure what you're asking about that. I have adjusted it on the occasional Sammy DLP that needs it. In my estimation, only a small number of them (maybe 5-10% or less) need the manual focus ring adjusted. But when they do, it is a big improvement.
