Samsung LN52A550 LCD 1080P 30,000:1 Contrast ratio, 5ms
OR
Samsung HL61A750 61-inch 1080p LED Powered DLP HDTV
I have a choice to make, and it is between these two TV's. I can have either, but the size is not as much and issue as the technology and picture quality.
Can one of the HDTV guru's offer any opinions one why one of these would be better than the other?
My concerns are the difference between the 30,000:1 contrast ratio of the LCD, and the 10,000:1 of the DLP.
The next concern is the LED technology, I was dead set against the old spinning color wheel DLP's, but is the LED technology really better?
This is going to be a bedroom TV, and the current set is a Sony 51" model, LCD projection HD Ready.
Thanks to all who respond.
