Hi all, Let me first say what a top site this is and that now after a long time I have finally signed up.

I purchased my DVR in the UK and have now moved to New Zealand and would like to watch freeview with it. Now it tunes in to it all and plays the radio stations and has channel info but does not have any pics or sound from the tv channels. Pioneer say it is probably the encoding. Does anyone know if there is a way to update this? I can't believe that this unit would have specialized electronics for one region.

Any help would be great as I can't handle the thought of having to shell out $300 for freeview.
