When I turn off my 1209s it has a small blue spot for about a second, it wiggles and flares before it goes away. The blue raster has dim diagonal lines with no signal input. I have checked the G2 and it is fine. I have been told it is a shorted tube. Anyone in So Cal have a Sencore to fix this with?

it is debris in the electron gun. you could ramp g2 up and down on that tube to try and burn it off. I had a p19 lug with this problem i ran g2 up high for a short time and tapped on the housing with a hammer ( not on the glass on the metal housing ) heard a pop and the problem was gone. I returned g2 to normal and all is ok now.
