Totally agree!

Karl: Could we start getting these early again? Builds some anticipation (I looked forward to the threads, frankly), and allowed me some time to schedule recordings on my DVR's. Thanks for considering! :o

Well, I had done without the HD Extra package from DirecTV since they took them away until this month. Looks like I'll add them back on this month. $4.99 ain't too bad for those movies.

Hi Bruce, I made the change to start posting highlights once that particular month started to get closer to when the movies were airing...and closer to the date when subscribers can schedule the recordings on their DVR's.

many HDNet employees read AVS and we appreciate any and all feedback.

Understood. Not sure what the feedback has been to you since, but I personally liked it the way you did it before. For example, I'm now in the mood to see what is coming in July. Not knowing until after July 1, for me, well, in a word, sucks.

But just happy to have you HDNET'ers on board... and HDNM is still my favorite HD channel. Er, until TCM is available in HD. :D

I was very pleased and surprised how good the transfer was. I didn't notice any grain while I was watching, very crisp and clean to my eyes. TOJW is probably my favorite Eastwood western.

Is there any plan to re-run Outlaw (I believe that was the name). Set in London a vigilante flick. I had it DVR'd until my box decided to reset itself and erase everything saved on it. I know it is on DVD but really wanted to see it in HD.

Watched Adaptation, had seen it on DVD, man that's a good movie. Josey Wales looked fantastic. I'll be recording The Music Man, I haven't seen that since I was a kid.

Here is some feedback for ya. Okay, maybe it is really a programming suggestion. At the end of each month, have a "viewers choice" showing. You could have viewers vote on the movie from the previous month they most want to be re-shown (if the rights permit it). The voting could be done here on AVS or perhaps via the HDNet web site. I have had it happen a couple of times where I missed a chance to record a good movie. This might be a "second chance" opportunity. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for your good suggestion but we won't be able to do that since our schedules are set 3 months ahead due to online guide deadlines. Many of our films repeat the next month in order to offer multiple viewing options. Please check out the Complete Movie List at www.hdnetmovies.com to see films and playdates for the next 30 days.
