Since I am dealing with an already drywalled room, I have been trying to come up with some ideas on how to run my cables and wires. I like this idea by a company called Cord Savers:http://www.chordsaversusa.com/ChordSavers_WallSavers.htm

I need to be able to run 5 cables in the housing: 2 HDMI, Speaker wire for left rear surround, Co-ax audio and component.

I bought a kit at HD a while back that is kinda small and the HDMI cable alone is thick and I won't be able to get all the cables in there. I think the above link is the best bet so far. I am wondering if there are any other companies that make anything like that. I did a google search but found mostly the kit I already have here. I think its called Wiremold.

I don't know anything about this stuff other than I ran across it and thought it looked interesting:

You could try base molding around the floorboards. They have ones specifically designed to run cable behind. Also it looks pretty nice and adds value to the room.
