I bought a Toshiba D-R410 the other day. I'm using Sony DVD-RW discs. I recorded two shows on it, turned it off and went back today to start recording again. I go to change the title on the dvd and it gives me the error "cannot record on this dvd".

I try another one of the same dvds and it doesnt work. I try another and it works. What's the deal with this player? Should I have gotten a different one? Should I be using different discs? Anyone successful with other discs? I really want to use RW's because I wanna be able to reuse the discs.

Also, just out of curiosity...is there a way to record shows faster? Like so i dont have to sit through the whole show? It's pretty frustrating after recording 2 hours of shows just to have to sit through them again while they record.
