After feeling very satisfied with my S52 for a year now, I come to find out the hard way that it won't play videos I back up on DVD+R DL (dual layer). Despite the claims, the user's guide states that it only plays back some obscure version of DVD+R DL, recorded on a DVD video recorder or something. I was burning Video TS folders in Toast Titanium 7. Memorex dvd+r's.

A bit of a hail mary here, but is there a setting I'm missing, or a firmware update...anything?
