If I apply for a Sony Card and then use it to purchase a PS3 at Walmart would I get:

a) PS3 with $100 credit from Sony Card and $100 Walmart Gift Card

or

b) PS3 with $100 Walmart Gift Card and no credit from Sony

Yes, you can use it on anything. I jumped on the promotion deal at wal-mart to buy the ps3 and they gave me a $100 gift card. Got Uncharted and a dual shock 3 controller using the gift card and just paid $18 for the difference. w00tness and I only paid $220 for the ps3 since my bro paid half so I saved lotta money =D

If they're smart they're ringing it as a $100 gift card and a $299 PS3, so you would only get the $299 back when you return it. Not sure if this is the case (somebody that bought it chime in), but this is the way Best Buy & Circuit City have handled bonus gift cards for awhile now.

Just bought mine last night. Gift card would not work towards the PS3 purchase.

You can use it for anything in the store though.

I believe if you try to return the playstation you have to return the gift card. Otherwise no luck.

Why is it that the gunmetal is more popular than the glossy black? IMO the gloss looks better. Just curious because I will be getting the MGS4 bundle and want to make sure that this is not an inferior product vs. their regular versions. Internal parts as well as cheap lead paint.

mgs bundle is standard 80gigger w/ds3 and game black color only.

gun metal bundle was a konami exclusive sold on their site only. less then 10,000 units were made. pretty sure sold out a while ago.
