I have a Panny AE900u projector and a DIY 92" screen (45x80)

I built a box off my back wall that is 7" high and only about 13' away and Im just trying to position the Panny to fit perfectly on my screen.

No matter what I can not get it to fit the 45 x 80 screen...Im off by about 1" horizontally. Measured the "Blue screen" the panny displays and it seems its only 79"x45".

What did I do wrong? It seems that I can never get a 45x80 blue screen actually maybe Im just dont have those fine motor skills any more to turn the dial just a small amount.

Did you use the small "joystick" on the front of the projector? We have the same one as you. All we did was make sure the projector was facing the screen as straight as we could, adjusted the size of the picture so it fitted our screen, and then used the small joystick to move the lens. Its all in the manual.

oh, make sure to loosen the joystick by "unscrewing" it before moving it, then tighten it back once your satisfied with the image placement. Read the manual first though. :)
